ROCK & REEL MAGAZINE
Joined by Ex LOVE SCULPTURE,DAVE EDMUNDS bassist John David
(Williams)“Wasted and Alone” is the follow up to the successful
“yesterday
was a lonely place but I,m lonelier today”.With seven previously unreleased
tracks and three digitally re-mastered formerly released tunes which boast
Mr
“H”s strident powerful vocal performances and deliberately forceful
approach
on guitar,he has travelled from the acoustic troubadour into the world of
Blues/Jazz with stories and tunes which reflect the loneliness of sleazy bars
and urban streets.
The album was recorded at Berryhill Studios in the Forest of Dean and brags
the musicianship and co production of Love Sculptures/Dave Edmunds,John
David (Williams) on bass and brushed snare drum and in fact the snare drum
is
the beast that drove Dave Edmunds “I hear you knockin”.
Many tracks from the album have received major radio play with BBC stations
and indi stations throughout the country.
Mr “H” is a man on a mission who is no introspective singer- songwriter, but
instead offers original tunes of what can only be described as a lovingly
crafted
fusion of rugged blues and jazz with well constructed commercial melodies
at their core.
Mr “H” will be touring to promote the album in the Spring and
Summer of
2010 which will kick off at the Brunswick Swansea on 1st April 2010.
